Weekend Getaway

BOCA RATON, FL

Tomorrow, I finally get to escape to my frequent getaway spot again!
I am more than in love with Boca. I love everything about it, from its location to its amazing boutiques and restaurants.
I am modestly lucky enough to have a family home located right in Boca allowing me to
escape to the amazing weather and copious amounts of fabulosity easily.

THE TOWN CENTER AT BOCA RATON

The Town Center at Boca is the local mall. It has seriously taken shopping to  a whole new level
for me (definitely just as bad as it is good)!  Being from New Hampshire where there is absolutely NO GOOD SHOPPING, Boca just completely blew me out of the water with 220 high end shops and something for everyone.

ATLANTIC AVE, DELRAY BEACH, FL

Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, FL has to be the best combination of both day and
nightlife in the area. Located at most 10-15 minutes away from any area in Boca,
it has glamourous boutiques such as Jesper which features amazing denim and
awesome brands like Rock Revival and Affliction.
-
The restaurants on Atlantic Ave are to die for. The are wayyyy too many to cover them all
so, I chose my favorite.

-

The Office is said to be owned by Danny Devito.
Everything about this restaurant exceeds expectations I would have for any restaurant.
Mostly known for their craft beers on draft and their burgers.

The Office definitely creates an awesome ambience.
They provide a sense that their purpose is solely too eat, drink, and be merry.
;)

-BOCA-

Well, well, well... Look who got engaged!

Supposedly, on the 18th, basketball player Kris Humphries proposed to the fabulous Kim Kardashian!

This is definitely big news as he is certainly nothing like the men of her past!
The couple have been together for six months.

-HOW DID HE DO IT?-

The consistent story seems to be that when Kim arrived at home the night of the 18th,
he was waiting in the bedroom on his knee with red rose pedals
spelling out the words 'Will you marry me?'.
A definite A+ method if you ask me...

-THE RING?-

The ring is absolutely IN-SANE and said to be worth $2 million, not to mention entirely stunning!
Finally!

In my front yard- sooo cute.

So, I get home today and my four year old sister tells me that we have baby birds in the front bushes...
She brought me out front and opened the bushes to see these four baby birds and one egg!
Way too cute.

[up]Beat

As I have newly begun my college career less than a year ago, there are a lot of changes in my life that have taken place: living in a new location, making new friends, moving away from home for the first time, everything. These changes have demanded me to conform to all of them, sometimes causing severe amounts of stress and frustration! Many of my past friendships and family relationships began to transform from everyday relationships into distant relationships, even with close family members.
Dealing with the many stresses has enabled me to finally figure out one of the best methods to handle them! Determine the little things that make your days worth smiling about. The highlight of my day may be something huge or even the smallest detail... Regardless of what negative factors are influencing the health of the day, I always try to take a step aside and pay attention to the details that boost the overall quality; even something as minuscule as a door being held for me or exchanging a smile on the street.
The flow or 'Beat' of my day is more than dependent on how its viewed. Focusing on the negatives is never helpful. Pay attention to the positives and small details that make the 'Beat' of the day '[up]Beat'.
