[up]Beat

As I have newly begun my college career less than a year ago, there are a lot of changes in my life that have taken place: living in a new location, making new friends, moving away from home for the first time, everything. These changes have demanded me to conform to all of them, sometimes causing severe amounts of stress and frustration! Many of my past friendships and family relationships began to transform from everyday relationships into distant relationships, even with close family members.
Dealing with the many stresses has enabled me to finally figure out one of the best methods to handle them! Determine the little things that make your days worth smiling about. The highlight of my day may be something huge or even the smallest detail... Regardless of what negative factors are influencing the health of the day, I always try to take a step aside and pay attention to the details that boost the overall quality; even something as minuscule as a door being held for me or exchanging a smile on the street.
The flow or 'Beat' of my day is more than dependent on how its viewed. Focusing on the negatives is never helpful. Pay attention to the positives and small details that make the 'Beat' of the day '[up]Beat'.
